Cranston , Mabel Elizabeth, entered into rest at the Stirling Manor surrounded by her family on Wednesday Jan 27 2010. Mabel Elizabeth Cranston (Nee: Wickens) of Stirling and formerly of Harold in her 96th year. Daughter of the Late John and Phoebe Wickens. Beloved wife of the Late Earl Cranston. Loving mother of Joyce Clancy of Stirling, Douglas Cranston and wife Betty of Marysville, Ruth Russett and husband Harry of Deseronto. Predeceased by son Ken Cranston, also survived by her daughter in law Sandra Johnston and husband John of Belleville. Ever remembered by her grandchildren; Karen and Sid, Gerry and Cheryl, Eric and Sue, Tony and Elaine, Kim and Dave, Kevin and Bonnie and the late Mark Cranston. Fondly remembered by her 14 great grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Dear sister of Mrs. Vera Howes of Stirling and predeceased by her sisters Maude Bedour, Ethel Matthews, Annie McCormick, Marjorie Flagler, Evelyn Reid and brother Elmer (Jack) Wickens. Friends are invited to call at the Stirling Funeral Chapel, 87 James St Stirling on Monday Feb 1 2010 from 12:00 till1:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Rev Ann Foster officiating. Spring Interment White Lake Cemetery. If desired donations to the Canadian Cancer Society , The Diabetic Association or St Paul's United Church would be appreciated.
