GEEN, Marguerite Effie (nee Shorey)- It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of a beloved mother and devoted wife. Marguerite Geen of Belleville, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday March 7th, 2012, at the age of 83. Daughter of the late Hilton & Effie Shorey. Cherished wife of the late Raymond (Ray) Geen. Loving mother of Carol Barry, Lois MacDonald (Doug), Kenneth Geen (Kathy), Teresa Ramsay, Larry Geen (Judy) all of Belleville, Lyle Geen (Susan) of Stirling, Connie Zaychuk of Edmonton, Shelly Fitzgibbon of Belleville and the late Ronald Geen. Predeceased by her sister Mae Fisher and brothers Ray & Wilbur Shorey. Survived by her sister in law Marg Shorey and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marguerite will be sorely missed by her many family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588). In keeping with Marguerite’s wishes, a private funeral service will be held. Interment will take place at the Stirling Cemetery.
