CROUTER: MARILYN JOAN (Nee-Carter) Passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Friday April 2nd, 2010 following a brief brave battle with cancer in her 74th year. She was the only child of the late Howard & Viola Carter. She is survived by her husband of 51 years William (Bill) Crouter, and her sons; Paul (Nancy) and Darren (Tami). Beloved nannie to Allison, Nicholas (Nick) and Alexander (Alex). Dear sister in law of Jacky & Frank Boccabella of Rochester Hills, Michigan. Loved aunt of several nieces and nephews and great aunt of 7 nieces and nephews as well as aunts and cousins. Marilyn was a devote member of Christ Church Anglican for over 70 years and served on the Altar Guild of the church for a number of years. Her interest, when well, was dancing of any kind, where she had many good times with a circle of very good friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Christ Church on Thursday April 8th, 2010 at 11:00a.m. Visitation at 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. and service of communion to take place followed by a lunch for family and friends. Interment at Belleville Cemetery with the Rev'd Michael Oulton officiating. Memorial donations to the Oncology Department at Belleville General Hospital, Christ Church Building Projects or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
