GREEN, MARJORIE MATILDA - It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie Green (nee Reid) announce her passing at the Belmont Long Term Care Facility, Belleville on Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 at the age of 85. Marjorie was the daughter of the late Thomas Wesley Reid and Sarah Annie (nee Wallace) and now in the loving arms of her late husband, John Earl Green. Cherished mother to her 3 daughters, Bonnie Mitchell (late Ron) of Belleville, Debbie Lloyd (late Jim) of Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, and Margie Shakell (John) of Belleville. Loving grandmother of Jason(Tina), Jared(Leslie), John(Hollie), Sarah(Rhode), Jayme(Matt) and Justin(Erin) and to her 15 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother Stanley Reid(Beverley) of Plainfield and her sister Mary Hamblin(Wayne) of Prince George, BC. Predeceased by her siblings Wallace Reid(late Lois), Goldie Reid(late Lorraine), Marie Peake(late Ed) and Harry Reid(surviving Joan). Fondly remembered by her husband John’s family, Audrey Chisholm(late Gord), Clara Green(late Murney), Adrienne Green(late Gordie), late Peter(Marion) Green and by her many nieces and nephews. The family wish to thank everyone at the Belmont L. T. C. F. for the loving care given to our mother over the years. As per Marjorie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588). A Celebration of Marjorie’s Life and Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at the Brittany Brant Music Centre, 10 Industrial Park Road, Shannonville from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Private interment at Christ Church Cemetery, Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory at a later date.
