LOUKES, MARY HELEN ELIZABETH- Passed away at Extendicare Cobourg on Sunday November 7th, 2010 in her 90th year. Daughter of the late Dr. Fred de Furlong Free and Mary (Dickson) Free. Loving mother of Fred Richardson (Janet), George Loukes (Catherine) and Joan Wheatley (Brian). Cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren: Diane, Leanne, Derek, Lloyd, Mary, Christine, Jacob, Katelyn and Jesse and three great grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband Dr. Lloyd G. Richardson, her second husband John D. Loukes, her daughter Jane (Richardson) Butts and her grandson John Singular. Graduated from the University of Toronto School of Nursing in 1943, worked as a Stewardess on TCA (Trans Canada Airlines) and subsequently enjoyed a fulfilling career as a local Public Health Nurse.
