MATHESON, MARY at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 1st, 2011, age 77 years. Mary Matheson of Brighton, daughter of the late Edward Paterson and the late Ellen (Traynor). Loving wife of Ian Matheson. Dear mother of Marie Correia and her husband Frank of Ajax, Robert Matheson and his wife Kaye of Toronto, Carol Davis and her husband Steve of Pickering, Sharon Carlson and her husband Dan of Uxbridge, and Joanne Walker and her husband Kelly of Brooklin. Predeceased by her son John Matheson. Survived by daughter-in-law Erica Matheson of Bradford. Sister of Sadie Clements of Keswick, Ellen Hampson and her husband John of Scotland, Agnes Littlejohn of Toronto and Bill Paterson and his wife Ann of Brampton. Predeceased by her sisters, Catherine Duffy, Ann Paterson, and her brother Edward Paterson. Sadly missed by her ten grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday from 12 o’clock noon. Service in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 7th, 2011 at 1 o’clock. Cremation.
