MURPHY, Michael John- Mike Murphy, of Carrying Place passed away at Kingston General Hospital ICU after a short illness on Sunday, December 18th, 2016. Son of the late John "Jack" Murphy and Anna Murphy (nee Meltz). Loved brother of Jackie Simpson (Leo) and Uncle of Julie Simpson. Mike will be forever loved by his wife Colleen Murphy, his children Michael Murphy (Shane), Ryan Murphy (Stacey), Matt Down (Melissa) and Casey Down (Candace). Mike enjoyed every minute he spent with his grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by Jacob Michael Murphy, Kaley Down, Kole Down, Carson Down and Jacob Down. After retirement Mike enjoyed travel to the East & West Coasts of Canada, time on the Mazinaw and all those Sunday dinners. The family will greet friends at JOHN R.
