Mieczyslaw " Mike" Szwedo

SZWEDO, MIKE, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, it is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Mike Szwedo, Meat Department Manager of more than 20 years at Sobey’s. Mike entered into rest peacefully at Trenton Memorial Hospital on August 24th, 2011 with his family by his side. Loving husband of Janice (Brown). Dear father of Christopher, Jennifer (Ryan), Tamara and Madison. Sadly missed by his grand children Maxwell, and Emerson as well as by his many nieces, nephews and his Aunt Anna. Deeply missed also by his brothers and sisters, and all who knew him. The family invite friends to join them at a Celebration of Mike’s Life on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #100, Brighton, followed by a bonfire at the Szwedo home (weather permitting). As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Kingston General Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the Family.
