Beloved wife of the late Garnet Powell. Dear mother of Colleen Kellar (Don), Frankford; Sandra DeGroot (Adrian), Manitoba and Roger Powell (Lori), R. R. 4, Trenton. Dear sister of Karen Haack (Paul), Frankford and Boyd Courtney (Janice) of Minden. Predeceased by brothers Robert and Edwin "Bud" Courtney and grandson David DeGroot. Ever remembered by grandchildren Stephen DeGroot, Michael DeGroot (Lisa), Adrian DeGroot (Sherrie), Lisa Young (Wayne), Kim Hooper (Doug), Aaron and Nathanael Powell, Kyla DeGroot, 16 great grandchildren and sisters-in-law Clare Courtney and Marion Courtney both of Belleville. Resting at the FRANKFORD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 40 North Trent Street, Frankford. Visitation Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Service will be held at the Frankford Community Free Methodist Church on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 1 p.m. Reverend Alan Adams and Pastor Judy Crowe officiating.
