REGIMBAL, Muriel Caroline – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Muriel at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 27th, 2015 at the age of 73. Daughter of the late Aubrey and Mabelle Brooks (nee Pratt). Pre-deceased by her husband Fernand Regimbal (Dec. 26th, 1996). Loving partner to Larry Downer. Muriel will be missed by her children Linda Regimbal, James York (Bonnie), David York, and Fernand Regimbal (Elizabeth). She is survived by her sisters Bessie Mawbey (Don), Myrtle Vanwort (Larry), Dorothy Newson (Robert), Iva Feehan, and by brothers Jim, Clarence, Phillip, Claude, Daniel, and Russell Brooks. Pre-deceased by brother Allan Brooks. Devoted grandmother to James, Jennifer, Jonathan and Julia. Muriel was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Collingwood. Friends are invited to call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) for a memorial service in the chapel on Friday, July 31st, 2015 at 1:00p.m. (with visitation one hour prior to the service from 12noon -1:00p.m.). Her ashes will be interred in the Stayner Union Cemetery beside her husband at a later date. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
