Myrna Milton

MILTON, Myrna Ruth passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family at the Belmont Long Term Care Facility on Friday December 30th, 2011, in her 75th year. Loving daughter of the late Donald and Mamie Milton. Loving brother of Floyd and his wife Atty of Pembroke. Lovingly remembered by her neice Kim Milton and husband Vince Giannandrea of Belleville, and great nephew Corbin Berger of Ottawa, and great niece Danielle Berger of Toronto. Lovingly remembered by her nephew Don F. Milton and wife Janice of Breslau, great niece Avery of Breslau, and great nephew Ryan Milton and wife Missy of Edmonton, Alberta, and her great grand niece Nevaeh Milton of Edmonton, Alberta. Lovingly remembered by her niece Katherine Prescott and her husband Mark of Pembroke, great nephew Nolan Schruder and great nephew Joshua Schruder of Pembroke. Also surviving Myrna are two cousins George E. MacDonald of Belleville, and Joan Gibb of Oakville. Myrna with her family moved from Toronto to Cannifton in October 1941, and dutifully served the Cannifton United Church, its Sunday School, and Church Choir. Myrna also served with her mother as a group leader of C.G.I.T. until poor health placed her into nursing care. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Belmont Long Term Care Facility for their excellent care and support. In keeping with Myrna’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. A private interment to take place at Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Belmont Long Term Care Facility or a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the JOHN R.
