Shorey, Norman Walter - Passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday May 7th, 2011. Norman Shorey, of Belleville, in his 81st year. Son of the late William and Mary Shorey. Beloved husband for 41 years of Violet (nee Benton). Dear father of Alison Shorey of Belleville. Survived by his stepchildren; Debra Lynch of Toronto, Kenneth Lynch, Douglas Lynch, both of Belleville, and Michael Lynch (Heidi) of Ottawa. Dear brother of Wilma Anderson of Winnipeg, and Verlin Shorey (Margaret) of Brockville. Loved by his grandchildren; Dylan, Stephen, Hayley, Mackenzie and Reghan. Arrangements in the care of the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue Belleville (613-968-5588). In keeping with Norman’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Bridge St. United Church, Belleville,Ontario on Friday May 27th, 2011 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. Rev Victoria Fulcher officiating.
