Member of Roslin U.C.W. & lifetime member of Bethel – Zion Womens Institute) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Phyllis on Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 at the age of 91 at her family's residence in Thurlow Twshp. With family at her side. Daughter of the late Ernest and Mary VanAlstyne. Beloved wife of 66 years to Gerald Tummon. Loving mother to Mary Huffman (Harry), Paul Tummon (Karen), Peter Tummon (Beth), and Katrina Ormond (Dave). Devoted grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL LTD., 68 N. Front St., Belleville (613-968-5080) on Friday, December 4th, 2015 at 2:00p.m. (with visitation from 12:30p.m. - 2:00p.m.). Rev. Tom Holmes officiating. Interment to follow at Victoria Cemetery, Plainfield. Following the Interment, a reception will be held at the Trinity United Church of Roslin.
