Richardson, Reverend Grant Gordon (Retired United Church Minister) – Passed away peacefully at home in Stirling, surrounded by his family, on Friday August 3rd, 2012, in his 81st year. Son of the late Volney and Helen Richardson. Beloved husband for 56 years of Marlene Margaret Richardson (nee Moorcroft). Dear father of David Richardson (Wanda) of Cambridge, Allan Richardson (Mary) of Wildfield Ontario, and Mary Carman (David) of Vancouver. Survived by his stepbrother John Lanigan (Geraldine) of Belleville. Predeceased by his sisters Donalda, Marion, his brothers Ralph ,Malcolm and stepsister Mary. Loved by his grandchildren Eric, Julia, Peter, Keith, Lauren, Jenna and Ellen. Friends may call at the Stirling Funeral Chapel, 87 James Street Stirling (613-395-2424) on Wednesday August 8th from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from St Paul’s United Church in Stirling on Thursday August 23rd, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation at the Church one hour prior to the service. Reverend Jean Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at the Stirling Cemetery. Special thanks to all the nurses ,personal support workers and friends for all their care.
