THURSTON, Rik August 31, 1950 – Sept. 17, 2011 Suddenly at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Richard Stephen Thurston of Roslin at the age of 61. Son of the late Roy and Ruth Thurston. Beloved husband of Debbie, nee Andress. Loving father of Stefan of Belleville, Mark and his wife Kim of Trenton, and Clint and his wife Crystal of Oromacto, New Brunswick. Much loved Grampa to McKayla, Ashton, Olivia, Hunter, Logan, Sam, Tyler, and Cole. Survived by his brother Ken and his wife Linda. Predeceased by his brother Bob and sister Sandra. Loved and missed by his nieces and nephews, Kim, Angie, Missy, Becky, Rob, and their families. A Celebration of Rik’s Life and Legacy will be held at the JOHN R.
