Barnes, Robert James (Bob) - (Carpenter's Local 397) Passed away at the Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday July 23rd, 2013. Bob Barnes of Belleville, in his 69th year. Son of the late Albert and Hazel Barnes. Beloved husband of Sharon Barnes for 45 years. Dear father of Angelia Barnes-Simmonds (Rob) of Barrie and Steven Barnes (Lisa Moon) of Woodstock. Dear brother of Lillian Smith of Toronto, Frank Barnes of Trenton, Ron Barnes (Judy) and John Barnes (Carol) all of Belleville. Predeceased by his sister Rose Edwards and by his brothers George, Howard and Keith Barnes. Loved by his grandchildren Trent and Reid Simmonds and Daxtan Barnes. Survived by his many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday July 27th, 2013 at 2 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Reverend Anne Marie Jones officiating. Following cremation, interment will take place at Mount Nebo Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (Wheels of Hope) would be appreciated by the family.
