MATHESON, Robert Beardsley Leonard “Bob” – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bob at the Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday, February 10th, 2016 in his 73rd year. Son of the late Bud and Jean Matheson. Beloved husband of 52 years to Carolyne Matheson (nee Cote). Loving father to Kecia Matheson of Belleville and Troy Matheson (Gelareh) of Vancouver. He is survived by sisters Gayle Idle (Claire) and Mary St. Jean (Roch). Devoted grandpa to Chase. Bob was a long time employee with Quinte Broadcasting, CJBQ (Sales Dept.) and served as a Councillor with Quinte West and Sidney Township, where he was also Deputy Reeve. In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the John R.
