GENEREAUX, Rod - at Lakeridge Hospital, Oshawa on Tuesday, July 15th, 2014. Rod Genereaux of Whitby in his 74th year. Adored by his wife Jill (Sweet), he was the love of her life. Predeceased by his mother Lillian and father William; his brothers Ron, Bud and sisters Shirley Genereaux, Marjorie Blight and in-laws Dorothy and Les Sweet. He was a proud uncle, great, great-great, great-great-great uncle to many nieces and nephews. He had a special relationship with his niece Judy Walsh. He will be missed by many friends, especially his childhood friend Dale Baker and his wife Linda; also his 'kids' Jack and Abby Basmaji. He was an honorary grandpa to Anabelle who gave him so much love and joy. The family will receive friends at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division Street, Trenton on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered from St. Peter's Church on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Father Paul Finn officiating.
