ROSE (Thomson) Rosemarie - Her life cut too short after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer, at the age of 53, surrounded by family at the Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday November 23, 2011. Supportive wife and friend to Paul Rose, incredibly loving Mother to Ashley Rezac (Martin Rezac) and Cory Thomson (Sirina Robinson), Adoring Nanny to Grandchildren, Mya Rezac and Zakk Thomson. Born in Bell Island Newfoundland, 1958, to Matthew and Elizabeth Penney, raised and made a home in Belleville, working at Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf for 30 years as an Educational Assistant. Greatly missed by her brothers, Vincent Penney (Brenda Penney), Michael Penney (Elaine Penney) and two sisters Debbie Gagne (Leo Gagne) and Denise Joice. Rose leaves behind many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Rose's large circle of beautiful friends will never forget her spirit and zest for life. Her legacy will live on in each of us, inspired by her strength and determination. Her incredible force always left an unforgettable impression on everyone she met.
