WARWICK, ROY HOLT passed away peacefully at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Saturday, November 19th, 2011, in his 89th year. Son of the late Eldon and Florence Warwick. Beloved husband of the late Valerie Warwick. Loving father of June (Rob) Cleave of Brighton, Jeremy Warwick of Porters Lake, N.S., and Clive Warwick of Parry Sound. Survived by his sister Irene Stott of England. Predeceased by his brothers Bill, Ronald, and grandson David. Ever remembered by his grandchildren, Michelle, Ryan, Evan, Bryce, Laura and great granddaughter Calla. Roy served for 9 years in the British Merchant Marine before immigrating to Canada in 1953. He lived in Georgetown, Ontario before moving to Brighton in 2000. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Friends are invited to call at the WALAS FUNERAL HOME, 130 Main Street, Brighton on Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday, November 24th, 2011 at 11 o’clock. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, or the Brighton Community Care, would be appreciated by the family.
