Skinkle, Stella: passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, November 7, 2011 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Skinkle. Lovingly remembered and forever missed by John and his wife Nancy, Gordon and his wife Vicky, Cindy and her husband Ken, son-in-law Paul and followed into eternal rest by daughter Leona. Grandma will be sadly missed by grandchildren Barbara Jean (John), Ron (Nicole), Shelley (Ben), Shannon (Mike), Wayne, Debbie (Scott), and Jim. “The Cookie Lady” will be remember and missed by great grandchildren Ashley, Joshua, Jordan, William, Justin, Emma, Ethan, Emily, Adam and Megan. Also sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. The family received friends at the Walas Funeral Home in Warkworth on Wednesday, November 9 with service in the chapel on Thursday, November 10, 2011. Cremation and interment at Warkworth Cemetery to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Canadian Diabetes Society or Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
