JOHANSEN, Svend Aage (Benny the Tailor)- Enetered into rest at the Belmont Nursing Home on February 2nd, 2010 in his 85th year. Benny was born in Randers, Danmark on May 19th, 1925 and came to Canada in 1956. He started as a tailor at Tip Top Tailors in Downtown, Belleville. It was not long until he started his own tailor shop and was a fixture in the downtown core for over 40 years. Beloved husband of Else Johanne (Mikkelsen) Johansen who left us on January 16th, 2006. Loving father of Karin Korn (Fritz) and B.J. Johansen (David Coward) of Belleville. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Julie (John), Jeff (Heather), Sarah (Steve), Karin and Amanda. Missed by his great grandson Jacob. Friends are invited to call at the JOHN R.
