Verna Howard

Verna Christina Howard (Sunrise: February 27th 1926 - Sunset: October 11th 2012) Retired school teacher, died peacefully by her daughters side at Belleville General Hospital. Daughter of the late Hurrell and Ella (Diamond) Moorcroft, predeceased by husband Ray and son Michael. Survived by her brother Robert (& Barbara) Moorcroft, of Port Hope, daughter Heather, (& Peter) of Belleville, daughter/niece Betty-Anne (& Maggie) of Lyndhurst. Also, predeceased by her brother Everett and dear sister Grace. Grandchildren include: Bob, Luke, Joshua, Derek and Tara. Great grandchildren: Alex, Connor, Mason, Logan, Xavier and Leighland. Deeply missed and loved by many nieces and nephews and friends in the Belleville area. The family will receive friends at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 68 North Front St., Belleville (613-968-5080) on Monday from 3-5p.m. Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday October 16th, 2012 at 11a.m. Rev.
