BEATTY, WILLIAM BENSON at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 28th, 2011, age 86 years. William Beatty of Warkworth, son of the late George Beatty and the late Maude (Healey). Loving husband of Keitha Marie (Brown) for 64 years. Dear father of George and his wife Sue of Norham, Marie and her husband Ray Merrill, Linda and her husband Ron Thain, and Ron and his wife Wendy, all of Warkworth. Brother of Mildred Townsend of Cobourg. Predeceased by his sisters, Eva Brown, Bernice Webb, Ethel Adams, and his brothers, Arnold and Frank Beatty. Sadly missed by his eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home, 70 Church Street, Warkworth on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the funeral home on Saturday, December 31st, 2011 at 11 o’clock. Spring interment Merrill Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation, or St. Paul’s United Church, Warkworth, would be appreciated by the family.
