SMITH, William R. “Bill” passed away peacefully at the Trent Valley Lodge Nursing Home on Friday July 20th, 2012, in his 78th year. Beloved husband and lifelong companion of Margaret “Marg” McIntosh for 52 years. Dear father of Susan Dorschner and her husband Keith. Ever remembered by brother Paul and his wife Rose, brother-in-law Bud Esplen, and sister-in-law Ina Hopkins (late Bruce). Proud granddad of Joshua, and Nicholas. Predeceased by his sister Ruth Esplen. Also loved by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Monday July 23rd, 2012 for a celebration of Bill’s life in the chapel at 3p.m. with visitation from 1-3p.m. Private interment at the Belleville Cemetery at a later date.
