<p>We are saddened to announce the passing of Roy Jacob Wagler. Roy passed peacefully on February 6, 2020 at the Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa at the age of 84. Beloved husband to Elizabeth "Betty" Wagler (nee: Peppler) for 59 wonderful years. Beloved father to Mark (Wendy) Wagler. Roy has now joined his son Dean Roy Wagler in Heaven. Loving grandfather to Cory, Warren, Madeleine, Kyle (Chrissie), Cameron (Keisha), Brook (Jake) and Matthew. Great grandfather to Isabella, Noah, Mia, Abigale, Peyton and Brooklyn. Roy was a proud member of the St. John's Anglican church for 20 years. He had a love of motorcycles and scrapbooking. Roy enjoyed spending time at his property in Minden where he worked in his shop building and creating things. Roy loved his family deeply and will be remembered fondly by his all of his family and friends. A visitation will be held at the Morris Funeral Chapel, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville Ontario, L1C 2Z1 from 1:00 - 2:00pm on Wednesday February, 12, 2020. Following the visitation a service will be held at the Morris Funeral Chapel at 2:00pm. Family and friends are then welcome to a light reception and time of sharing following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the St. John Anglican Church.</p>
