Aline Petersen Brantford, Ontario Obituary

Aline Petersen

Aline Amelia Petersen (Keefer) Born August 1, 1933 in Caledonia, Ontario. Passed away peacefully surrounded by many who loved her dearly, on Wednesday January 29th. Aline was a loving daughter to Alvin and Lydia Keefer and a devoted wife to Marv who she missed deeply since his passing in 2017. Aline was a loving sister to Ida, Bill, Ron, and Margurite. Aline was married twice; first to Keith Vickerman with whom she had three loving daughters, Debbie, Diane (Brian) and Sandi (Mark), and then to Marv Petersen, who became the love of her life. Aline treated Marv’s children Leigh-Anne, Adrien and Mathew James as her own and together she and Marv created one big family which will endure. She was a beautiful and kind Nana to Kimberley, Braedon, Claire (Josh), Hayley, Matthew (Amy), Samuel, Ryan, Nikki, Kianna, Daae, Issac and great grand daughters Kaisy and Mae. Aline lived a full life of love, adventure and travel but she really enjoyed life’s simple pleasures: time with her family, mystery novels, Wheel of Fortune, and a good game of Scrabble. Family and friends will be received at the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 11am to 12pm. A memorial service will follow in the chapel. The family would like to sincerely thank the ICU staff at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton for the kindness and compassion they provided for mom. In lieu of flowers donations to the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated. Messages of condolence may be left a www.tollfh.ca
