She loved life and was always in good spirits. On August 13, 2019 Leondina passed peacefully at the Brierwood Gardens in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Federico (1995). Left to mourn is her daughter Filomena and son Mario, her caring son in law Gerald Sammut and delightful grandchildren, Fredrick, Gina and Alexandra Sammut and her sister Lina (Detroit), her late brother Emelio (Italy) and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 11am at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly St., Brantford. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
