METCALF; JOHN GORDON “JACK” at his home in Brighton on Sunday, September 29th, 2013 age 76 years. Jack Metcalf, son of the late Gordon Metcalf and the late Mabel (Rose). Loving husband of Judy (Hutley). Dear father of Caroline and her husband Greg Clouston of Ottawa, Debbie Metcalf-Brant of Trenton, Elizabeth and her husband Mark Coyles of Waterloo, and Adam Metcalf and his wife Shari of Trenton. Brother of Bill Metcalf of Brisbane, Australia, brother-in-law of Claudette Heroux-Metcalf of Ottawa. Predeceased by his brothers, Bob, Wallace, and Claude Metcalf. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Caitlin, Aaron, Derek, Brittany, Daniel, Carling, Brooke, Emily, Logan, great granddaughter Madison, and his many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton on Wednesday, October 2nd from 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, October 3rd from 12 noon till 2 p.m. Service in the funeral home to follow on Thursday at 2 o’clock. Interment at Colborne Union Cemetery.
