Moss, Adelard "Ad"

Active Lions Club and Knights of Columbus member for 50 years and dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden St. (St. Vincent de Paul Hospital), surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Ad is survived by his beloved wife Bernadette (Pennett) Moss and their children Paul (Laura) Moss, Diane (Eduard) Abele, Janet (Tim) Cooke, Nancy Demac and the late Bruce Moss (Vicki). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Ryan, Dana, Stefanie, Danielle, Katie, Jodie, Mackenzie, Benson, Quinlan, Denham, Phillip, Ivan, Adler and Matthew and by his great grandchildren Jack, Ellie, Claire and Cameron. Dear brother of Lucille Hebert, Jeanne Clement, Maurice (Dorothy), Renald (Simone), Richard (Marjorie) and Claude (Jeanine) Moss. Predeceased by his sisters Therese Byrne and Rita Wert and by brothers Fernand, Percy, Bernard, Bruno and Roma Moss.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be held at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Monday at 10 am followed by interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Loaves and Fishes will be gratefully acknowledged. The Brockville Lions Club will gather for a Lions Memorial Tribute on Sunday evening at 6:45 pm and the Knights of Columbus Council 1049 will gather for Fraternal Prayers on Sunday evening at 8:30 pm.
