Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, on Friday, October 16, 2009, Alan Cunningham, former resident of Pointe-Claire, Quebec, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Betty Parsons, and devoted father of Thomas, Richmond Hill, ON, Andrea, Saint John, N.B., Neil (Anne) Pointe- Claire, QC, William (Amy) Marblehead, Mass., and Martha (Ronald McGillvray) Kanata, ON. Dear brother of Bruce, Antigonish, NS. Beloved grandfather of Alexander, Graham, Jennifer, James, Grace, Greta, and Harrison. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville, ON, on Tuesday, October 20th from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, October 21st at 11 am followed by a gathering at the Brockville Country Club. A reception in celebration of Alan's life will be held at the Beaconsfield Golf Club, 49 Golf Avenue, in Pointe- Claire, Quebec on Thursday, October 22nd from 3-5 pm.
