<p>DeJeet, Alfred (Alf)</p><p><br></p><p>Suddenly at his residence in St. John's Nfld; on August 1st, 2015. Alfred Evan DeJeet, at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of Jean Collins-DeJeet; the late Gertrude Keeping and Ruth Patterson. Dear father of Barbara DeJeet (Melody Johnson) of Toledo and Beverly (Wayne) Strikefoot of Jasper. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Angela Attwood (John), Russell Attwood (Michelle), Jeffrey and Eliott Strikefoot. Grampy to Kayliah and Kendall Miller. Alf is also survived by one sister Rachel Bond and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Felecia and Jacob DeJeet, by brothers Lazarus, John and Albert DeJeet and by sisters Martha Green, Mary Gerard, Anna Davies and Aurora MacLeod.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday August 7th from 11am until 1:30pm when a celebration of Alf's life will be held in the Chapel followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Gideon Bible, St. John's Citadel Band of The Salvation Army or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
