Allan Burns

On Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care at the age of 68 years. Loving son of Lillian Burns of Brockville and the late Robert Mansel Burns. Beloved husband of Lynora Quartus and fondly remembered by Lynora's children Jeff Quartus (Crystal), Angie Grier (Bob), Rob Quartus (Elizabeth) and Steve Quartus; and grandchildren Jasper, Emmitt, Carlie, Eve, Ali, Regan, Oliver, Finley, Alainie and Brady. Dear brother of Fay Agopsowicz (the late Leon), David Burns (Martha), and Jane Burns. Also survived by nieces and nephews Matthew Burns, Kyle Burns (Kim), Thomas Burns, Kate, Jeff and Danielle McKenna, Jamie Scace (Deidre), Jody Downs (Greg) and Jacqueline and Andrea Quesnel; and by great nieces and nephews Jessica and Sam Scace and Chris Downs. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, December 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Ceremony in celebration of Allan's life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, December 23rd at 1:00 p.m. In remembrance, donations to Brockville and District Palliative Care or the Leeds & Grenville O.S.P.C.A. (Humane Society) will be gratefully acknowledged.
