Alton Lagrove

Lagrove, Alton David Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Alton David Lagrove, at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Nelda, and dear father of Stephen Lagrove and Deborah Richardson. Also survived by five grandchildren, Rev. Robert Lagrove (Tracey), Michael Lagrove (Sarah), Zakary Richardson (Amanda), Skylar Richardson and Giles Richardson, three step grandchildren, Laurie Doonan, Mike Doonan (Shana) and Ken Doonan, four great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren and by his daughter-in-law Marilyn Doonan (Jack Boyle). Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his son Brian and by brothers, Loyal and Floyd Lagrove and by a sister Alma Cooper. He was predeceased by his parents Foster and Edna Lagrove. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, on Tuesday April 26th from 5 until 8 pm A ceremony celebrating Alton's life will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11 am at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, Maitland. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Service or Christ United Church Lyn will be gratefully acknowledged.
