Alton MacAulay Obituary

Al passed away peacefully on November 14, 2009. He was born on October 31, 1929 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. He spent most of his life in Brockville working for Reynolds Central Oil Company and as a member and active supporter of the Brockville Rowing Club. He is survived by brother Edison MacAulay of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia; sister Marion Rivard of St. Bruno, Quebec; brother-in-law Donald MacKeigan, niece Nathalie Rivard, and nephews Gary MacKeigan, Terry MacKeigan and families. He was predeceased by his sister Helen MacKeigan of Brockville. He will be sadly missed. Private arrangements were entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. Al will be laid to rest in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Brockville Rowing Club will be gratefully acknowledged.
