Passed away peacefully at Bridlewood Manor,surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 23 2016. Annigje (Anne) Roobol, at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Jacobus (Jake) Roobol. Loving Mother and Mother-in-law to Donna and David Cody, Laura and Harold Roobol, Marianne and Neil Paddle, Corinne and Frank Cipra and Cindy and Ryan Hayes. Beloved Grandma to Matthew, Shannon, Hannah, Meghan, Jesse, Katrina, Joel, Ian, Nathaniel, Dylan and Jacob. Also survived by her three great grandchildren Ava, Levi and Emily. Sister of Hank Baas (Pat), Connie Ryde (Ted ) and Audrey Reid ( Lee). Also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Cor Roobol (Judy), Betty Roobol, Kathleen Davies and Clara Baas as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Maria and Harm Baas; by a sister Tini Mannen and by her brothers Herman and Theo Baas.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, May 25th from 6-9 pm. A ceremony celebrating Anne's life will be held on Thursday at 11 am at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 175 Windsor Drive. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Bethel Christian Reformed Church or the Palliative Care Service at the Brockville General Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged.
