At Sherwood Park Manor on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Pietronella (van der Valk) Kwakernaak. Loving father of Annette Kaldeway (Peter) of Mallorytown, Margriet de Bruyn (Peter) of Elizabethtown, Trudy Kwakernaak (Dave Smith) of Kingston, N.S., and Robert Kwakernaak (Lesia) of B.C. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Steven, Heatherann, Jessica, Melissa, Amanda, Jason and Eric. Also survived by one great grandchild Isabella and by a sister-in-law Dein Kwakernaak of Yarmouth, N.S.

A celebration of Arie's life will be held at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Rd. 15 at a later date.
