Longtime Labour Activist and Executive of O.P.S.E.U. At his home in Athens on Thursday, October 8th. 2009 at the age of 61 years. Son of the late Arthur Wm. and Marjorie (Pearce) Lane. Beloved husband of Nancy. Loving father of Arthur (Jennifer Bresee), Lisa (Heloise Boone), Kim (Greg Carboni), Johnathan, Alexander, Nicholas and Christian Lane. Fondly remembered by four grandchildren, A.J. and Connor Lane, Cameron and Alyssa Carboni. Dear brother of Alice Milne (Brian), Michael Lane, Marianne Paul (Bob) and Angela Terry (David). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, October 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, October 15th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow at Roselawn.
