Barbara Heather Driver
<p>After a valiant battle with cancer, Barb passed away at home on October 5, 2017 at the age of 81 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Barb was a nurse for 36 years and avid volunteer with Sherwood Park Manor Auxiliary, Genealogical Society and the Brockville Figure Skating Club.</p><p><br></p><p>Deeply missed by her husband Lawrence (Larry), children Dale (Kate), Heather and Laurie (Bill) Purtell, grandchildren Jacob and Nathan Driver and Sarah Purtell (Tyler), step granddaughter Katelyn, great grandchildren Liam, Aidan and Zoë, and brother James (Jim) Dack. Predeceased by her parents Florence (Goldie) and Elmer Dack and by her grandson Aaron Purtell.</p><p><br></p><p>In memory of Barb, donations can be made to Sherwood Park Manor Ladies Auxiliary or Ovarian Cancer Canada. Special thanks to Jane Mitton and all the 1st floor nurses at BGH.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion; Branch 484, 13 Quabbin Rd., Mallorytown from 2-4 pm.
