Moss, Bernadette (Bernie)

Entered into rest peacefully surrounded by her devoted family at her residence on August 11, 2017. Bernadette (Pennett) Moss, at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Adelard "Ad" Moss and dear mother of Paul (Laura), her late son Bruce Moss (Vicki ), Diane Abele (Eduard), Janet Cooke (Tim) and Nancy Moss Demac. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Ryan, Danielle, Dana, Stefanie, Katie, Jodie, Phillip, Matthew, Benson, Ivan, MacKenzie, Quinlan, Denham, Adler and by her great-grandchildren Jack, Ellie, Claire, Cameron and Bruce. Sister of Grace Cauley, Marie Speagle and Bonnie Hough. Predeceased by her sister Joan Bronson and by her parents Rosella and Edward Pennett.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Francis Xavier Church, 66 Church Street, Brockville on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care or the Elisabeth Bruyere Program will be gratefully acknowledged.
