Passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Doris (Giles) Major and cherished father of Susan, Norman (Sandra) and Kevin and to his step-children Cheryl (Balaji), Shelley and Shannon (John). Fondly remembered by 8 grandchildren and by 1 great grandson. Dear brother of Diana Chevrier and Russell Major. Also survived by a sister-in-law Phyllis Major. Predeceased by his parents Ada and Adolphus Major and by his brother Leo Major.

A graveside service and Rite of Committal will take place at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Lyn Road, Brockville on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10 am.
