<p>Passed away unexpectedly at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday, May 5, 2017 with his family by his side at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband of Norma (Simpson) Davis and cherished father of Shannon Davis. Dear brother of Linda Tennant (Bill), Steve Davis (Marg) and Terry Davis (Carol) and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Norma Bradford and Lawrence Davis.</p><p><br></p><p>Carl was raised in North Augusta and lived in Brockville with his family, where he enjoyed carpentry, working in the garden, and raising guard dogs. Carl worked at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, where he was a dedicated professor in the Computer Networking and Technical Support program. He was known to everyone for his kind heart, down-to-earth manner, teasing sense of humour, and stubborn good character. He always put others first, especially his family, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. </p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at the family home on Saturday, May 13th from 12 noon until 2 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the SPCA Leeds Grenville Branch, in memory of his German Shepherds, will be gratefully acknowledged. Arrangements entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville.
