<p>Retired proprietor of Bondi Fruit Company. At the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Monday November 4, 2013 at the age of 98 years. Beloved husband of Josephine. Dear father of Frank Bondi (Geraldine) of Collingwood, Leonard Bondi (Sheila) of Ajax, Angie Wyatt, Amelia Geneau and Josephine De Wagner (Dale) all of Brockville. Sadly missed by nine grandchildren Frank and Carl Bondi, Chris Darling, Michael and Chris Bondi, Jay Geneau, Chantal Crate, Luba Wright and Kim Markus as well as by thirteen great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Rose Battalia of Orillia and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Angelina Bondi as well as his sister Theresa Bondi and by a son-in-law Peter Wyatt. Carl was a proud veteran of World War II, a Legionnaire and a 75 year member of the Knights of Columbus.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, November 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be celebrated in St. Francis Xavier Church on Friday, November 8th at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Mary Jane Hawkins Foundation of St. Lawrence Lodge or the Alzheimer's Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
