Peacefully in hospital Brockville on August 27, 2010. Carole Anne Dixie in her 69th year. Daughter of Phyllis Dixie and the late Robert Dixie. Beloved wife of Karl Flaherty, and dear mother of Karl, Kevin and Michael. Sadly missed by two grandchildren Kyle and Kendra as well as a great grandaughter Brooklyn. Dear sister of Bob ( Debbie), Billy and John (Linda) Dixie. Predeceased by her sister Nancy Lamothe, and by her sister-in-law Susan Dixie. At Carole's request arrangements will remain private, with no public visitation or funeral service. Cremation will take place at Roselawn Crematorium, Maitland. In memoriams to the Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged. Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville.
