Connie Laureen Barr

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Barr (Burnett) on Thursday Sept. 5 at home surrounded by many of her immediate family. Beloved wife of Mike Barr, cherished mother of Cody Barr (Holly Perrin) and step grandmother to Alexis and Cohen. Also survived by her father Stewart Burnett (Trudy Vollenweider) and older brother Brian Burnett (Deborah), sister-in-law Virginia Burton and brother-in-law Jim Barr (Sharon). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Her smiling happy face will be greatly missed by all her family, friends, and co-workers. She was pre-deceased by her mother June Burnett, sister Heather, and brothers Larry and Steven, as well as her sister-in-law Natalie L’Anglais and brother-in-law Tom Barr (Jean survives).

Family and friends will be received at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn 2451 Cty. Rd. 15, Maitland on Wednesday Sept. 11 from 10:30 am until 11 am when a celebration of life will be held in the chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated after their exemplary care the last few months.
