Passed away surrounded, lovingly, by her family at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday, September 10, 2017. Deborah Anne (Jackson) Chatham-Martell, at the age of 67 years. Loving daughter of Joreen Jackson and the late Philip Jackson. Beloved wife of James (Jim) Martell and the late Brent Chatham. Cherished mother of Jennifer Chatham (Kevin O'Connor), Christina MacDonald (Paul), Cindy Chatham (Michael Jobson) and Lisa Serson (Mike Wichers). Dear grandmother of December-Dawn (Andrew Norton), Breanna Guilboard, Luckas Guilboard (Nikki Brisson), Ceillidh O'Connor, Orion O'Connor, Cody Sargent (Tyisha), Lryra Sargent (Alex), Joshua and Zachary and great grandmother to Heaven-Leigh, Paxton, Jacob, Airianna, Nikkilas, Michael and Darian. Fondly remembered by her brother Michael Jackson; her niece Amanda Jackson; great nieces Arabella and Rosalie and by her beloved dog Boomer. Predeceased by her grandson Kyler Chatham.


Visitation will be held at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A ceremony celebrating Debbie's life will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11 am. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 96 Ladies Auxiliary will assemble for a memorial tribute on Thursday at 6:45 pm. Donations to Baby's Breath (formerly Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths) or to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada will be gratefully acknowledged.
