<p>McKay, Donald (Wiener) Born April 12,1930...</p><p><br></p><p>Decorated veteran of the Korean War passed away after a lengthy illness at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street September 22, 2015.</p><p><br></p><p>Pre-deceased by beloved wife Lola Irene McKay nee (Griechen), Daughter Linda Gray, son Donnie McKay and survived by son, Wayne living in New Brunswick.</p><p><br></p><p>Also predeceased by his beloved Mother Verna nee (Ferguson) and Alex McKay of Dundee Scotland also predeceased by brother, Bruce and wife Alice, brother Bob and wife Fran, brother Bill and survived by wife Kay and brother Dick, survived by wife Mary also survived by sister, Betty Stewart.</p><p><br></p><p>Also loved and missed by Donald’s surviving Grand Children - Tygue, Lisa, Andy, Tiffany, Charmalea, Elissa, Carmen plus Donald’s six Great-Grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>He will also be missed by a large family of nieces and nephews and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>Special thanks from Donald and his family for the wonderful / compassionate care provided by the nurses and doctors at the Brockville General and Connell Wing of the Kingston General Hospitals.</p><p><br></p><p>A huge gratitude to all service providers from Meals on Wheels, CCAC, PCW, DVA care and support workers along with the housekeeping and too many more special people to mention.</p><p><br></p><p>Internment for Don (Wiener) and wife, Lola McKay shall be held for all Family and Friends wishing to say goodbye will be announced at a later date.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville.</p>
