Dorothy Taylor

Passed away at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the age of 78 years. Loving wife of the late James Taylor and dear mother of Sandra Taylor (Andrew) of Montreal, Kathy Newlands (Dan) of Belleville, Penny Hutton (Kevin) of Brockville and the late Anne Sands who predeceased her January 18, 2012. Cherished grandmother of Julie Lynn Lafortune, T.J. Newlands, Dylan & Ryan Hutton. Sister of Elta Blair and Don Blair and great grandmother of Jayden. Also survived by her son-in-law Jeff Sands; sister-in-law Shirley Redmond and her brother-in-law Gordon Taylor (Lise). Predeceased by Brothers Ernie, Frank, Jimmy and Jack Blair. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday from 11 am until 1 pm when a service in celebration of Dorothy's life will be held in the Chapel. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Brockville and District Hospital Palliative Care would be appreciated.
