<p>Hewson, Dorthy </p><p><br></p><p>Entered into rest peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Friday, October 09, 2015. Dorthy Gwendolyn Earle Hewson, at the age of 90 years. Wife of the late Aubrey Hewson and dear mother of Robert Hewson (Joanne Cyr), Janice Hewson, Donna McMillan and Elizabeth Hewson (Dan Humble). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Alexander Hewson (Niki Stearns and great- granddaughter Jaida) and Jennifer McMillan (Taylor Lawton). She was predeceased by her brother Donald Earle and by her parents Katie (Shields) and Fred Earle.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville from Tuesday after 11.30 until 1 pm when a ceremony celebrating Dorthy's life will be held in the Chapel at 1 o'clock.A reception will follow with a private family interment at Union Cemetery Lansdowne.. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Mallorytown or Lansdowne United Church, The SPCA Brockville Branch or St. Lawrence Lodge Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
