Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Merton Douglas Campbell Colonel (retired) CD at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Gwen (nee Egan). Dear father of Alison Campbell (Ken Bly) and Ian Douglas Campbell. Survived by his grandsons Jamie and Michael Bly, as well as his sisters Patricia Campbell, Jane Campbell (Bob Hamper) and Ann Campbell. Douglas was predeceased by his parents Dorothy Bradley and Merton Campbell and by his stepmother Evelyn Park.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, August 3rd from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Friday, August 4th at 10 am.
